Lab Technician

Job Title:

Lab TechnicianJob Description Join our team as a Lab Technician where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products. You will be responsible for conducting quality control tests on finished products and incoming raw materials. This position requires working with various laboratory instruments and contributing to the maintenance of high-quality standards. Responsibilities + Perform quality control testing on finished product material and incoming raw material. + Run tests such as titrations, refractory index, viscosity, and sand testing. + Utilize instrumentation including auto titrators, refractometers, and conduct some gas chromatography work. + Assist with the preparation of certificates of analysis and data entry tasks. Essential Skills + Proficiency in chemistry, biology, or physics. + Experience with lab techniques such as titrations and sample testing. + Strong understanding of quality control processes. + Ability to handle instruments like auto titrators and refractometers. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in science (chemistry, physics, biology, forensic science, biochemistry, or related field) is required. + Excellent attention to detail. + Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Work Environment This position is located in a manufacturing facility, working within the quality lab. The role operates on a night shift schedule from 11 PM to 7:30 AM. The work environment requires adherence to safety standards and involves working with various lab equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
