As a Research Student II Post Baccalaureate, you will work closely with research personnel and actively participate in a structured learning experience in laboratory or clinical research settings. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in laboratory techniques, clinical procedures, data collection and analysis, and other related skills, providing valuable exposure to careers in biomedical and clinical research.

• A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Learn laboratory techniques to support ongoing research projects in a laboratory or clinical setting.

+ Learn how to record and analyze data related to research experiments or data sets. + Other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Undergraduate degree + _May be accepted/enrolled in an accredited college or university as a medical student, MA/MS student or other graduate program students (EXCLUDES students in a PhD program)_ + _This position is NOT applicable to anyone who has completed all requirements for master's or other advanced degrees_ Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Previous research laboratory experience with a focus in a science or healthcare-related field of study

• Physical Requirements:

• + Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.

+ Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment. + Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. + Ability to distinguish color. + Manual dexterity to handle specimens and repair equipment. + Ability to lift and transport equipment or specimens weighing up to 20 pounds. + May be exposed to hazardous chemicals, biohazards, radioactive materials, etc.

• Personal Protective Equipment:

• + Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
• Pay Range
• Minimum hourly: $15.

00 Maximum hourly: $150.00 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education.
