JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for a 13-week travel assignment in a leading healthcare facility in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of complex laboratory tests and ensure accurate, timely diagnostic results that support patient care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing on patient samples Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment Ensure accuracy and quality control of all test results Document and report findings using
EPIC EMR
system Follow laboratory safety protocols and regulatory standards Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for diagnostic support Maintain specimen integrity and proper labeling procedures
REQUIREMENTS
Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or equivalent ASCP Certification (Required) or AMT equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience as MLT or MLS required
EPIC EMR
experience preferred (recent experience required) Prior travel experience preferred but not mandatory Strong attention to detail and laboratory accuracy
