Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Advance your career by providing essential laboratory support in a respected healthcare environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals skilled in laboratory diagnostics, focusing on both Medical Technologist and Medical Lab Technician roles.
Schedule:
13-week contract duration Four 10-hour night shifts per week
Hours:
9:00 pm - 7:30 am
Qualifications:
Certification as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician Active ASCP certification (required) Proven experience in a clinical laboratory setting Ability to accurately perform a range of laboratory tests and procedures Strong attention to detail, organization, and commitment to safety Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and with a team
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of routine and specialized laboratory tests following established protocols Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment with a focus on precision and reliability Analyze specimens and document results promptly and accurately Collaborate with clinical staff to provide timely and critical diagnostic information Ensure all work complies with relevant laws, regulations, and quality standards Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist with laboratory process improvements This is an excellent position to apply your laboratory expertise in a collaborative clinical setting.
