We are committed to providing exceptional sleep health services through comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and patient-centered care. Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sleep Technologist to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will assist in conducting sleep studies, monitoring patients during sleep, and collecting essential data to aid in diagnosing sleep disorders. Your expertise will contribute directly to improving patients' quality of life through accurate assessments and compassionate care. Duties Prepare patients for sleep studies by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort. Monitor patients throughout the sleep study, observing physiological parameters and recording vital signs. Operate and troubleshoot sleep diagnostic equipment with precision and care. Conduct physical examinations as needed to assess patient readiness and health status. Analyze physiological data, including respiratory patterns, brain activity, heart rate, and muscle activity during sleep. Maintain detailed documentation of each study, including technical observations and patient responses. Collaborate with physicians to interpret diagnostic results and support treatment planning. Experience Previous experience working in a sleep center or similar healthcare environment is highly preferred. Knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and physiology is essential for accurate monitoring and assessment. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology related to sleep medicine enhances your effectiveness in this role. Experience performing physical examinations and vital signs measurement is advantageous. Strong understanding of diagnostic evaluation processes for sleep disorders is desirable. Prior exposure to sleep medicine technology, including polysomnography equipment, is a plus but not mandatory.
