Tuesday - Saturday | 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM (3rd Shift)
Interview Process:
Video Conference (WebEx) 15% shift differential applies after start date. Job Description The primary function of this role is to support laboratory operations by preparing, processing, and routing specimens for testing. This position is responsible for maintaining specimen integrity, resolving specimen-related issues, coordinating test requests, and providing support across various laboratory departments while ensuring quality and accuracy. Responsibilities Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing. Process, sort, rack, retrieve, and organize specimens. Prepare and send specimens and test requests to reference laboratories for testing. Research, troubleshoot, and resolve specimen-related issues. Release test results and route test requests to the appropriate testing locations. Assist clients with specimen-related inquiries and requests. Process specimens for referral testing at additional laboratory facilities. Maintain accurate records and logs in a timely manner. Provide support to multiple areas within the laboratory. Ensure proper specimen handling and maintain specimen integrity throughout the process. Utilize Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all laboratory safety procedures and company policies. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or
GED. 0-2
years of related work experience. Basic Microsoft Excel, Word, and email skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications Previous laboratory, healthcare, specimen processing, or clerical experience. Experience with specimen handling and data entry. Familiarity with laboratory workflows and procedures. Additional Information Full-time opportunity with potential for conversion based on performance and business needs. No travel required. 15% shift differential applies after start date. Fast-paced laboratory environment requiring strong attention to detail and teamwork.
