Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician, utilizing your expertise in laboratory science to support vital patient care. This contract role spans 13 weeks and is ideally suited for professionals passionate about high-quality laboratory diagnostics and working within a dynamic clinical team.
Schedule:
4 shifts per week, 10-hour nights
Hours:
9:00pm - 7:30am
Qualifications & Skills:
Completed training as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician Certification with ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) is required Proficiency in standard laboratory techniques, analysis, and quality control Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Effective communication skills for collaboration within multidisciplinary healthcare teams Ability to work independently during overnight hours
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic laboratory testing accurately and efficiently, including hematology, chemistry, immunology, and microbiology Prepare, analyze, and validate medical specimens Maintain and operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation Ensure compliance with quality control policies and safety standards Accurately document and report results to physicians and healthcare providers Participate in troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of lab instruments as needed This contract role offers you the chance to advance your skills in a fast-paced environment, while collaborating with compassionate professionals dedicated to excellent patient outcomes.
