• Job Description
• The
• Laboratory Analyst
• performs analytical testing of water samples in compliance with OEPA and EPA regulatory standards.

This role serves as the primary analyst for EPA 525.2, provides backup support for other analysis. + Perform

EPA 525.2

analyses for water samples following all SOPs, QA/QC, and laboratory safety standards. + Prepare and document reagents, calibration standards, and quality control samples. + Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation related to primary methods. + Review and validate analytical results; report deviations or issues as needed. + Maintain method documentation, including Initial and Ongoing Demonstration of Capability (IDOC/ODOC) for assigned methods. + Participate in proficiency testing (PT), audits, and corrective actions as assigned. + Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all laboratory safety protocols.

• Qualifications

• Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• + Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field OR equivalent laboratory experience. + Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship + Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• + Experience with

EPA 525.2

preferred but not required; training provided + Experience operating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation + Excellent documentation and recordkeeping skills + Ability to work independently and collaboratively + Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• + •Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 A.

M.- 5:00 PM, with additional time as needed.

• + •Position is located at our Marion, Ohio location.
• + •Position Pay Range is $22.

00-24.00/hr based on experience.
