Temporary Laboratory Technician - Xia Lab Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation - 4.3 Oklahoma City, OK Job Details Temporary | Seasonal | Full-time 17 hours ago Qualifications Entry level Full Job Description Position Overview and Responsibilities The Xia Lab is seeking a motivated Summer Laboratory Technician. This position is ideal for a high school student interested in gaining hands-on experience in biomedical research. Responsibilities Assist with routine laboratory experiments and data collection Perform basic lab techniques, including: PCR and gel electrophoresis histology, immunostaining and microscopy Assist with mouse colony maintenance and genotyping (if applicable) Organize laboratory reagents, supplies, and research records Participate in laboratory meetings and scientific discussions Minimum Qualifications Strong interest in biomedical research Careful attention to detail and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Work Hours Full-time summer position (generally 4-8 weeks).
