Job description OK Compliance Testing Lab is actively seeking a Laboratory Analyst with experience in

GC-MS / GC-FID

analysis to join their growing team in the Booming Cannabis Market of Oklahoma. OKCTL is Oklahoma's Largest Cannabis Testing Laboratory. The ideal candidate would be Detail Oriented with prior Laboratory experience. Responsibilities Prepare lab work areas for upcoming processing Performing basic laboratory functions under indirect supervision in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Upload sample data, information, and images in Laboratory Information System Gather basic data and information on samples. Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and work areas Use 3rd party validated instruments and subjects to gather results Prepare samples for all analyses in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Perform assigned analysis within the guidelines of the Standard Operating Procedures. Perform all Batch analysis with the required quality control samples. Ensure that all data generated meet quality control requirements. Dispose of all generated laboratory waste in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Work with analyst team to meet reporting deadlines. Maintain and report accurate weekly consumables inventory for assigned analysis. Perform Common Extraction. Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively work, problem solve, and communicate with multiple levels of the organization. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow laboratory safety guidelines Strong agility, engagement, and flexibility in an ever-changing environment. "(2) Analysts must possess a bachelor's degree applicable to a laboratory testing environment, with a minimum of two (2) years of experience, or an associate's degree and five (5) years of applicable experience.." Successful passing of OSBI background check Cannabis laboratory experience is preferred, but not required. Experience Operating GC-MS, GC-FID, LC-MS/MS, HPLC, or similiar.
