R D Laboratory Technician Mechanical Engineer Indianola, PA Contract Feb 19, 2026 Job Summary A technology organization is hiring a R D Laboratory Technician to provide advanced technical support for multiple project teams concurrently. This onsite role supports hardware testing, troubleshooting, system upgrades, and validation activities while collaborating cross-functionally with engineers and technicians. The position requires strong analytical skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Responsibilities Provide advanced technical support for one or more project teams simultaneously Support hardware testing, troubleshooting, and system upgrades Assist with testing activities from concept through verification and validation (V&V) and beyond as needed Package systems and components for domestic and international shipping Develop creative solutions to challenging technical problems while ensuring compliance with established protocols Collaborate with cross-functional staff including supervisors, engineers, designers, and technicians Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize tasks, and plan daily activities accordingly Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude in hands-on technical environments Qualifications
Required:
High School Diploma or GED Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize assignments, and plan daily activities effectively Mechanical aptitude
Preferred:
Associate's Degree or completion of a 2-year trade or military technical school
