The Laboratory Support Technician will support Quality Control operations by maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment in accordance with cGMP standards, FDA expectations, and company procedures. This role is responsible for routine laboratory cleaning, glassware preparation, waste handling, and general custodial support for designated QC and operational areas. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of performing hands-on support tasks in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. This position's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following: Perform routine cleaning of Quality Control laboratories and designated production support areas in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. Wash, rinse, and prepare laboratory glassware for reuse while properly segregating and disposing of broken or non-reusable items. Remove trash, recycling, and shredding from designated laboratory and support area receptacles and maintain orderly workspaces. Clean and disinfect floors, surfaces, windows, mirrors, and other assigned areas to maintain a sanitary and inspection-ready environment. Safely respond to routine spills and ensure appropriate safety signage and precautions are used to prevent workplace hazards. Handle laboratory waste and hazardous materials in accordance with company procedures, PPE requirements, and applicable safety standards. Report safety concerns, facility issues, and maintenance needs promptly to the QC Group Leader or appropriate personnel. We are looking for applicants with: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 0-3 years of relevant experience preferred in custodial, janitorial, laboratory support, or cleaning-related work. Prior experience in a pharmaceutical, laboratory, manufacturing, or other regulated environment desirable. Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods, supplies, and safe handling practices preferred. Basic knowledge of proper waste handling and disposal practices, including hazardous materials awareness, preferred. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow written procedures and safety requirements. Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the shift, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
