Job Description

Will conduct and/or analyze sleep recordings of patients of all ages except infancy and perform other related duties in the Sleep Disorders Center laboratories Develop and Grow Your Career! Position-Specific Benefits include:

Position:
Polysomnographic Technologist Shift:
36 hours per week, day and night shift
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in a full service Sleep Disorders Centers laboratory or equivalent experience preferred
Education:
BA/BS from an accredited institution preferred. Specific training in polysomnographic technology, EEG technology or respiratory technology from an accredited institution preferred. Ability to read, write, speak, communicate and understand English sufficient to perform duties of job required
Licensures/Certifications:
1. BLS or ACLS certified 2. One of the following American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) endorsed registrations is required: American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Pennsylvania licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist with the advanced Sleep Disorder Specialist credential (RRT-SDS) 3. Graduate of a CAHEEP accredited school for Clinical Neurophysiology and/or obtain a polysomnographer technician certificate. Must Obtain the RST and/or RPSGT registration within 10 months of hire.
