Vitalant is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician dedicated to making a positive difference. Expect Schedule:

EVE 2:45PM - 11:15PM works e/o W/E. Shift diff for Evening and W/E applies.

Training Location and schedule:

Days 7:00 AM -3:30 PM Monday-Friday 875 Greentree Bldg 5

Base Wage:

Perform moderate complexity testing including CMV, Hgb S testing, and operation of a cell counter. Perform high complexity testing including Antigen screens, antibody ID, and cross match. Manage the labeling of routine and special components and review criteria to determine product acceptability. Assist in reconciling reports. Associates degree in laboratory science, medical laboratory technology required. MLT certification required or qualification for CLIA High Complexity required. State license as required by regulations. One year of laboratory experience required or MLT certification or Bachelors required without lab experience.
