Complex Rehabilitation Join Our Team as a Rehab Service Technician! Are you a mechanically inclined problem-solver who wants to put your skills to work in a meaningful, people-centered career? We're looking for a dependable, hands-on professional with experience in DME/HME equipment, mechanical systems, or technical service work to join our Complex Rehabilitation team. This is not just a delivery role — it's a skilled technical position where your ability to assemble, troubleshoot, and adapt medical equipment directly impacts a person's independence, safety, and quality of life. What You'll Do Deliver, assemble, and install complex rehab and HME/DME equipment , including power/manual wheelchairs, hospital beds, patient lifts, ramps, and advanced seating systems Perform mechanical adjustments, fittings, and modifications to ensure proper function, safety, and client-specific customization Troubleshoot and repair equipment using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic devices (including basic electrical testing such as AC/DC systems) Conduct preventative maintenance and safety checks on mobility and accessibility equipment Support Assistive Technology Professionals (ATPs) and clinicians during evaluations, fittings, and equipment trials Educate clients and caregivers on proper operation, safety, and daily use of equipment Pick up, clean, disinfect, and refurbish equipment in accordance with infection control standards Accurately document service work, repairs, and client interactions Maintain service vehicle inventory, tools, and parts to ensure readiness for field service calls Assist with warehouse repairs, equipment staging, and inventory management as needed What We're Looking For Experience in Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Home Medical Equipment (HME), mobility equipment, or similar mechanical/technical field strongly preferred Strong mechanical aptitude — comfortable assembling, adjusting, and repairing equipment Familiarity with basic electrical systems (AC/DC), wiring, and use of diagnostic tools such as a voltmeter Experience with hand tools, power tools, and general mechanical repair Ability to lift, move, and transport medical equipment safely Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Comfortable working independently in a field-based, customer-facing role Compassionate, patient-focused mindset with strong communication skills Why You'll Love It Here Make a direct, visible impact on people's independence and daily lives Work in a role that blends technical skill with meaningful service Gain specialized experience in complex rehab and assistive technology Supportive, team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth Varied, hands-on work — no two days are the same Additional Details This is a field-based position requiring travel to client homes, hospitals, and care facilities.
