DOE Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:00 PM We are seeking an experienced Senior Lab Technician to support chemical process development, laboratory testing, and pilot plant operations in a fast-paced research environment. This temporary role is ideal for candidates with experience in chemical laboratory operations, reactor systems, process testing, analytical instrumentation, and lab safety programs. Key Responsibilities Perform laboratory synthesis, blending, reactor operations, and process experimentation Support product development, process optimization, and technology transfer projects Operate and maintain laboratory and pilot-scale equipment including reactors, pumps, flow controllers, and analytical systems Conduct sample analysis using gas chromatography, titrations, and other laboratory testing methods Assist with distillation, filtration, and separation processes Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and support maintenance activities Document test results, prepare reports, and maintain accurate laboratory records Support plant trials and collaborate with vendors, contractors, and engineering teams Participate in lab safety programs, hazard reviews, and chemical inventory management Qualifications High School Diploma with 15+ years of related experience, Associate Degree with 10+ years, or Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of relevant industry experience Experience with reactor systems, pilot plant operations, or chemical processing equipment Knowledge of analytical testing, troubleshooting, and laboratory instrumentation Experience with organic or polymer chemistry preferred Strong communication, organizational, and Microsoft Office skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Employee Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plans Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter/Parking Accounts People Perks Health Savings Account (HSA) AD & D Insurance If you are an experienced laboratory professional looking for your next opportunity, click "Apply Now".
