Full-Time Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Lab Technician to join our team in Fort Myers, FL. This position is responsible for supporting daily laboratory operations, conducting routine testing, and ensuring accurate documentation in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is organized, quality-focused, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses following established procedures Prepare samples, reagents, and testing materials for daily lab operations Accurately record and document test results and data Maintain, clean, and calibrate laboratory equipment Follow all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering lab supplies Identify and report any inconsistencies or issues with samples or results Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production and quality goals
Qualifications:
Previous laboratory, manufacturing, or quality control experience preferred Associate degree or relevant coursework in science-related field is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation Ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
