Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by an accredited organization (ASCP or equivalent) Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field Previous laboratory experience strongly preferred Knowledge of quality control protocols, laboratory instrumentation, and safety regulations Ability to interpret results, troubleshoot instrumentation, and communicate findings effectively Strong attention to detail and proficiency in specimen handling
Responsibilities:
Conduct, analyze, and validate laboratory tests in accordance with regulatory guidelines Maintain accurate laboratory records and reliable data reporting Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams for optimal patient diagnostics Ensure strict adherence to safety and infection control policies
