1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) with at least 1 year of sleep tech experience for a 13-week night shift contract at a hospital outpatient sleep lab. Details Hospital outpatient sleep lab located off-campus from the main hospital, in the lower level of a clinic building 10-bed sleep lab, two of which are equipped for pediatric testing Patient population includes adults and pediatric patients; tech-to-patient ratio is 2:1, except for patients under age 3 which requires 1:1 coverage Procedures include diagnostic sleep testing and all PAP therapy titrations Charting system is Epic; Natus XLTech Sleep Works and ResMed S9 devices are used on the unit 3 night shifts per week, 12-hour shifts; lab operates Sunday-Thursday, shifts may not be consecutive and split shifts are possible No floating to other units or departments Call is not required Requirements RPSGT and BLS certifications required Minimum of 1 year of sleep tech experience required License required if applicable Two professional references required for consideration: one from a supervisor within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and one from a peer or supervisor in the same specialty within the last 3 years Copies of all certifications must be active at time of consideration — no pending certifications accepted Additional Information Responsibilities include patient check-in, room setup, patient hookup, charting, equipment cleaning, and limited scoring during data collection Orientation consists of modified Epic EMR training and one shift with another sleep tech Candidates who have previously worked at any Sanford Health location must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their submission date Gray scrubs required Candidates with a permanent address within 80 miles of the facility are eligible to be considered for this position All clinicians are required to badge in and out at the facility Secured building entrance; flat lot parking is available directly outside; no cafeteria on site
