Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong hospital laboratory experience, excellent phlebotomy skills, and the ability to perform a wide range of clinical laboratory testing while maintaining the highest standards of quality and patient care.

Monday-Thursday with rotating 8-hour and 12-hour shifts (32 scheduled hours per week plus on-call hours)

Weeks Start Date:
July 27, 2026 Requirements Minimum 2 years of current MLT or MLS experience in a hospital or medical setting. Active ASCP or AMT certification (or an equivalent accepted certification). Strong phlebotomy experience with the ability to perform blood draws.
COVID-19
vaccination required (booster not required). BLS certification (AHA) is highly preferred. Updated resume with complete work history. MLT/MLS skills checklist. Two recent supervisory references. Responsibilities Perform accurate and timely clinical laboratory testing. Collect, handle, process, and prepare patient specimens for diagnostic testing. Perform and document laboratory testing according to established protocols. Conduct quality control, calibration, and quality assurance activities. Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and function checks on laboratory equipment. Ensure compliance with laboratory policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Accurately document laboratory results and maintain patient records. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support quality patient care. Demonstrate competency in providing laboratory services for the patient populations served.

$46.00 - $51.00 per hour
