You review the night's plan, verify instrument calibrations, and line up your glassware for the first titration. Through the shift, you move from raw material checks to solution analyses to finished steel cord verifications—turning data into decisions that keep production on spec and on time.

Primary Schedule:
3rd shift (6pm-6am) What a Night Looks Like You'll set up, adjust, calibrate, and operate laboratory instruments before running a cadence of physical, chemical, and instrumental tests. You'll pipette with precision, execute titrations, and analyze plating and wire drawing solutions to keep processes within tight limits. When steel cord samples arrive, you'll identify and quantify elemental content and any impurities, then translate your findings into clear reports, charts, and graphs on standardized forms. Throughout the shift, you'll prepare chemical solutions using standard formulas, document every result, and maintain a clean, sterilized work area so the next round of analyses starts from a trusted baseline. Core Impact Test raw materials, in-process chemical solutions, and manufactured steel cord against specifications Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analyses (including titration and pipetting) Evaluate solutions used in plating and wire drawing processes Identify and quantify impurities and elemental content in steel cord samples Record results on standardized forms and prepare written test reports, graphs, and charts Prepare chemical solutions per standard formulas Clean and sterilize laboratory equipment What You Bring Strong math aptitude and analytical reasoning Clear written and verbal communication Microsoft Office proficiency and the ability to generate daily reports Experience with quality control and/or SPC is a plus Availability for a 12.5-hour rotating schedule (

6AM-6PM |
Nights:
