Job Description

We're adding an Extract Lab Technician with CMA Certification at Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Center's Weisgarber location. You'll handle the day-to-day prep for allergy immunotherapy and support the care team. If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working behind the scenes to help patients, we'd love to meet you. This position is Monday through Friday (40 hours/week).
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare allergen extracts for new patients, refills, and mail-out orders. Assist in maintaining inventory of stock vials and ordering immunotherapy supplies. Ship extract to satellite offices via UPS and occasionally deliver in person as needed.
Learn and use:
Rosch Vaccine Program software eClinicalWorks (eCW) electronic health record (EHR) system Support the extract lab manager with day-to-day lab functions and assigned tasks. Assist in the shot room Administer allergy injections Maintain accurate documentation in both Rosch and paper records Communicate with providers regarding patient immunotherapy plans or issues. Adhere to all extract lab and shot room safety and procedural protocols. Prepare materials for skin testing and patch testing. Order immunizations and necessary clinical supplies. Maintain active CPR certification and complete required sterility and fingertip testing.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required One of the following is preferred: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certified Pharmacy Tech Prior experience in a clinical or laboratory setting is highly desirable Must have excellent attendance, communication skills, and a strong commitment to patient care CPR certification required (or must be obtained shortly after hire).
