JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for preparing, scanning and quality control (QC) health records for correct chart order according to required standards set by hospital policies and procedures, Medical Staff Bylaws, Joint Commission Standards and Medicare and Medicaid requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education High School or equivalent Minimum Work Experience No experience required. Required Licenses/Certifications Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Ability to follow the specifics of the chart order. Input data into computer programs. Ability to operate, perform user maintenance, and troubleshoot high speed scanners. Effective interpersonal skills when working with others. Ability to pay attention to detail to ensure documents for the correct patient go in the chart. Ability to handle confidential information. Designated Driver No OSHA Category 3 - Low Risk
