Job Description

This Data Clerk will manage, organize, and maintain critical production data related to manufacturing processes, inventory, and quality control to ensure smooth operations and accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately inputs and maintains production data, inventory records, and work orders into the company's databases or software systems. Monitors and updates inventory records, including raw materials, components, and finished solar modules, ensuring inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date. Compiles daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management, highlighting key metrics such as production output, efficiency, and quality control results. Ensures proper documentation and filing of manufacturing records, including production logs, quality inspection reports, and work orders. Assists the quality control team in recording inspection results, tracking defects, and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards. Performs routine audits of data for accuracy and consistency, troubleshooting any discrepancies or errors in a timely manner. Works closely with production teams, quality control, and supervisors to provide relevant data and insights for improving manufacturing processes and resolving issues. Assists in the identification of data trends and process inefficiencies, providing suggestions for process improvements. High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in related field is a plus. At least 6 months years of experience in a data entry or clerical role, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with manufacturing or ERP software (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus. Strong ability to organize and manage large volumes of data accurately, with a focus on quality and precision. Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members and management. Ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies and potential issues in a timely manner.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer. Occasional lifting of files or materials (up to 25 lbs). Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery.
