Sleep Technologist

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting sleep studies and providing diagnostic evaluations to patients with sleep disorders. Your expertise in sleep medicine will be essential in ensuring accurate assessments and effective patient care. Responsibilities Perform polysomnographic studies, including setup and monitoring of equipment to assess sleep patterns and disorders. Analyze and interpret data from sleep studies. Monitor vital signs during sleep studies, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. Educate patients about the procedures involved in sleep studies and provide guidance on pre-study preparations. Maintain accurate records of patient information, study results, and any relevant medical terminology. Experience The ideal candidate will possess: Prior sleep technician experience. Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and medical terminology relevant to sleep medicine. Experience with physical examinations and understanding of anatomy knowledge as it pertains to sleep disorders. Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques used in a sleep center environment.
