Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated EMG/NCV Diplomate / PT Fellowship Complete — ECS Certification to join our dynamic neurodiagnostic team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will perform EMG and NCS exams, ensuring precise data collection and interpretation. Your dedication will support neurologists and other healthcare providers in delivering exceptional neurological care. Responsibilities Conduct electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction velocity (NCV) studies with precision, following established protocols and safety standards Prepare patients for testing by explaining procedures, positioning them comfortably, and addressing any concerns to ensure cooperation Analyze test results accurately, documenting findings thoroughly for review by neurologists or specialists Maintain detailed records of all procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and quality assurance standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans and provide insights based on neurophysiological data Stay current with advancements in neurodiagnostic techniques, continuously improving testing skills and knowledge Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and used in accordance with manufacturer guidelines Requirements Certification as an EMG/NCV Diplomate from the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine or equivalent credentialing body Completion of a Physical Therapy (PT) fellowship program with specialization in neurodiagnostics or related field ECS (Electrodiagnostic Certification Specialist) certification or similar recognized credential is required Proven experience performing EMG and NCV studies in a clinical setting, demonstrating technical proficiency and attention to detail Experience performing EMG and nerve conduction studies independently or with minimal supervision. Strong understanding of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and relevant safety protocols Experience with outpatient EMG/NCV workflow. Familiarity with EMG reporting software and electronic medical records. Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume clinical environment while maintaining quality. Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly to patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy We are committed to fostering a supportive environment where your expertise can thrive.
