job summary: Join a dynamic R D environment where your technical expertise directly impacts the quality and innovation of household-name beverage brands. As an Analytical Chemistry Testing Technician, you will be a vital link between the laboratory and the R D team, performing sophisticated qualitative and quantitative analyses on finished products and raw ingredients. Frisco, Texas job type: Contract salary: $20 - 22 per hour work hours: 11 to 7 education: Bachelors responsibilities:
Advanced Analysis:
Execute a wide range of analytical testing utilizing modern instrumentation and traditional wet chemical techniques to ensure product integrity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Actively participate in R D project teams, providing critical data for finished product and ingredient analysis.
Data Interpretation:
Compile, interpret, and communicate complex test results clearly to internal stakeholders and project customers.
Laboratory Excellence:
Maintain rigorous adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), ensuring laboratory safety, cleanliness, and organizational standards are met.
Instrument Stewardship:
Manage general laboratory upkeep, including the calibration of sensitive instrumentation, sample management, and inventory control.
Efficient Throughput:
Deliver timely and accurate analytical results within a high-volume, fast-paced industrial laboratory environment.
qualifications:
Required:
Education:
B.S. in Chemistry, Food Science, or a closely related scientific field.
Experience:
2-3 years of professional experience in an analytical laboratory or a related scientific research environment.
Communication:
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present technical data to non-technical team members.
Soft Skills:
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member; strong problem-solving aptitude.
Microsoft Excel Skills:
Able to search database programs compile and export reports and filter and sort excel data
Preferred:
Technical Expertise:
Hands-on experience with GC/MS, HPLC, UV/VIS, FTIR, and ICP.
Specialized Knowledge:
Strong proficiency in GC/MS specifically applied to flavor and fragrance analysis within the Food and Beverage industry. #LI-HK1 skills: Quality control,
