BASIC PURPOSE OF POSITION
Technical quality assurance resource for the production area. Provides lab support to pre and post sterile products. Provides guidance on solutions to moderately complex problems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Will perform quality testing according to company documented test procedures. Will perform testing according to GLP and USP (Good Laboratory Practices and United States Pharmacopeia). Understand good safety practices in handling hazardous chemicals in the laboratories. Will document all test results in timely manner. Maintain in detail all records and keep documents well organized. Will be able to interface with multidisciplinary company representatives and also with external auditors when asked. Have the ability to multitask on various projects as required. Able to work 40-50 hours a week.
KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
INTERNAL:
Must be able to work as part of an interdisciplinary team interacting easily with the members of the team. Must be able to support the ongoing manufacturing of product. Must be able to provide technical consultation to other personnel in a positive, supportive way.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in related field. Previous experience in lab environment. Quality Industry training courses. At least 2 years of quality assurance experience in the appropriate field. Experience in the medical products field and/or disposable product manufacturing is preferred. At least 3 years of experience with
ISO13485
regulations and FDA GMPand QSR requirements. At least 3 years of SPCimplementation experience in a high volume environment. Must be proficient in the use of office automation software including MS Word, Excel, and Project. Helpful if bilingual, not a requisite
