Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Sleep Coordinator to join our dynamic Dental sleep team. In this vital role, you will serve as a key facilitator in the assessment and management of sleep disorders. Your expertise will help ensure patients receive oral appliance therapy for Obstructive Sleep Apnea, from initial evaluation through treatment planning. As a Sleep Coordinator, you will work closely with medical professionals to coordinate diagnostic evaluations and support patients in achieving restful, restorative sleep. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives by promoting healthy sleep habits and advancing sleep medicine practices. Duties Conduct thorough patient interviews to gather detailed medical histories related to sleep issues Perform physical examinations and assess vital signs to support diagnostic evaluations Assist in setting up and monitoring sleep studies within the sleep center environment Educate patients on sleep hygiene, treatment options, and the importance of good sleep practices Collaborate with physicians to interpret sleep study results and develop personalized treatment plans Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, test results, and clinical notes using medical terminology Support the coordination of follow-up appointments and ongoing patient care efforts Requirements Proven experience working in a sleep center or related healthcare setting is highly preferred Basic knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and physiology relevant to sleep disorders Familiarity with anatomy knowledge pertinent to the respiratory system and sleep-related structures Ability to perform physical examinations and interpret vital signs accurately Excellent understanding of medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation procedures in sleep medicine Prior experience with sleep studies, including setup, monitoring, or analysis is a plus Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams about complex medical concepts Join us in advancing the field of sleep medicine by providing compassionate, expert care that transforms lives. Pay:
$20.00 - $29.71 per hour
