Full-time Position Summary:
The Sleep Study Coordinator is responsible for scheduling patients for sleep studies, consultations, follow up appointments, and CPAP therapy setups. They communicate with patients, staff members of Comprehensive Sleep Care Center, staff members at other physician offices, and the public to facilitate the referral process and educate as needed. This individual participates in the insurance verification process and assists with billing as needed.Scheduling Duties:
Efficiently schedules sleep study appointments and maintains an accurate schedule for 11 different locations. Maintains a full schedule filling all sleep labs to maximum capacity Schedules patient. Must call patients to confirm appointment, location and necessary items to bring along with any instructions for preparation for sleep study appointment. Performs general clerical support functions within an office setting as well as maintaining standards for responsible conduct safeguarding confidential information Operate office equipment such as computers, phone system and voice mail messaging system, and fax machines. Performs other duties as assigned.
