St Michael's Grammar School is seeking a passionate and practical Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic Science Faculty. This hands-on role is all about making science come alive—by supporting teachers, preparing engaging experiments, and ensuring our labs run efficiently. What you'll do: Be the behind-the-scenes hero of the Science Faculty—setting up equipment, preparing materials, and supporting staff and students. Provide administration support to the Head of Faculty. Help create a safe, efficient, and inspiring learning environment for budding scientists. What you'll bring: Relevant qualifications or experience in education or science. Tertiary studies in at least four VCE science subjects (or equivalent), or a Certificate IV in a related field. Chemistry and Physics are a bonus! Demonstrated high-level computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Office applications, Chemwatch, RiskAssess, and Learning Management Systems. A current Working with Children Check, Anaphylaxis Certificate, and a recent National Police History Check. (within six months) Why St Michael's?
