ASAP About the Position Polysomnographer (Sleep Technologist)

Night Shift | Part-Time (0.6 FTE & 0.01 FTE available) Compensation $54,411 $83,229 annually Overview We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographer (Sleep Technologist) to support patients with sleep-related and cardiopulmonary conditions. This role involves conducting sleep studies, monitoring patient responses, and ensuring accurate data collection in accordance with clinical protocols. Key Responsibilities Conduct and monitor sleep studies (polysomnography) Observe and record patient data during sleep assessments and adjust monitoring equipment Recognize and respond to abnormalities during studies Collaborate with physicians and respiratory care teams Maintain accurate documentation and patient records Follow established clinical protocols and safety standards Requirements One of the following certifications required upon hire: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) Sleep Disorders Specialty (SDS) Current BLS certification (AHA) Minimum 1 year of relevant sleep study or respiratory care experience Strong technical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Recent critical care experience (within the last 12 months) Experience in sleep study technology Ability to work independently in a clinical setting Additional Details Part-time night shift opportunities available Benefits offered No relocation assistance Must meet all compliance and credentialing requirements
