Medical Laboratory Technician Required Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution. National Medical Laboratory Technician- American Society for Clinical Pathology upon hire. Or National Medical Laboratory Technician
- American Medical Technologists upon hire. Or National Medical Laboratory Technician
- American Association of Bioanalysts upon hire.

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science from an accredited college/university that included clinical rotation. Or Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science AND completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Science program. Or Bachelor's Degree with completion of 60 semester/90 quarter hours from an accredited college/university that includes a minimum of 6 semester/9 quarter hours of chemistry, 6 semester/9 quarter hours of biology, and 12 semester/18 quarter hours of other chemistry, biology, and/or medical laboratory science courses AND at least three months full time clinical experience in all laboratory areas.
