About Us CBC Coating is a third-generation, family-owned company rooted in the heart of Wisconsin's paper industry. Founded in 1978 as a subsidiary of Riverside Paper Corporation and named after Charles B. (C.B.) Clark—son of a Kimberly-Clark founder—our company has spent more than 40 years delivering high-quality, innovative specialty-coated products. Our capabilities include developing custom water-based coating formulations and applying coatings to a wide range of roll-based substrates. Position Overview As an Evening Shift Quality Control Lab Technician , you will perform the daily testing and quality assurance functions that support our coating operations. This role operates in a fast-paced environment with high standards and established procedures. Whether you bring a strong work history or are newly graduated from a technical program, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities Perform testing, recording, and troubleshooting of coated materials Work closely with production teams to ensure quality standards are met Place materials on HOLD when they do not meet specifications Maintain a clean and organized lab environment Properly use, care for, and understand all testing equipment Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented setting What We're Looking For Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Self-motivated and career-driven within manufacturing and quality control Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail Reliable and consistent work habits Requirements Quality assurance or manufacturing experience is a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred Normal color vision required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand for long periods throughout the shift Work hours can vary depending on manufacturing crewing 12-hour shifts may be required depending on staffing What You Can Expect from Us Health insurance, including dental and vision 401(k) with employer match Competitive wages with paid time off Tuition reimbursement Supportive, family-owned company environment
