Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will perform a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Your expertise will contribute to delivering accurate and timely results that support patient care and clinical decision-making. The ideal candidate is energetic, precise, and passionate about advancing healthcare through laboratory excellence. Duties Conduct laboratory procedures using established protocols to analyze blood, urine, tissue, and other specimens. Perform specimen collection and processing, including venipuncture (blood sampling), specimen labeling, and preparation for testing. Utilize various laboratory techniques such as microscopy, centrifugation, and chemical analysis to ensure accurate test results. Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during sample handling and testing. Record patient information accurately using medical terminology and ensure proper documentation of all laboratory activities. Assist with patient care activities related to specimen collection, including taking vital signs when necessary. Support hospital staff by providing timely test results and ensuring proper specimen storage and disposal. Experience Proven laboratory experience with a strong understanding of laboratory procedures, techniques, and safety standards. Clinical laboratory experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to interpret test orders accurately. Experience performing phlebotomy (venipuncture) and blood sampling with confidence. Familiarity with hospital workflows, patient service standards, and specimen processing protocols. Prior experience in a clinical or hospital environment that emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and patient care is advantageous. Join us in making a difference through precise diagnostics!
