Mineral Laboratory Technician

Personnel Temporary Services, in partnership with a Benwood industrial facility, is seeking a Mineral Lab Technician. This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate, with an excellent benefit package offered upon hire by the facility Duties include, but are not limited to: Perform test procedures and record test results with attention to detail Document preparation Keep lab and equipment clean and orderly Manage operating activities in the laboratory, sample retrieval and analysis Enter lab data Issue Certificate of analysis Receive and record incoming packaging material Collects samples for third-party analysis and sales Inspect the plant facility and finished product inventory Perform monthly fire extinguisher inspections Assist the QM and TQM in the control of the QES Management System.

Requirements:

Excellent computer skills Candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision Must be able to multi-task Associates/Bachelor's degree in science related field preferred Valid driver's license Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

Other:

Previous laboratory experience is strongly preferred Day shift position, with overtime as needed. Some Saturdays required The position is temp to hire for the right candidate with excellent benefit package available upon hire
