Job Description

About us Standard Laboratories, Inc. is a small business in Gillette, WY. We are fast-paced, data-driven, autonomous and our goal is to analyze coal and provide accurate data to mine personnel in a safe timely manner.

An individual that likes to work in a fast-paced work environment, a team-player, must be a self- starter, and able to work alone and with others. All candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol screening, complete and pass a work-step evaluation and must have a valid drivers license with a good driving record.
Responsibilities:
Wear proper PPE for personal safety. Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of lab space. Follow proper procedures for performing tasks. Learn to operate and maintain lab equipment. Able to lift 50-75 pounds. Stand and walk for long period (up to 12 hours.) Retrieve coal samples and analyze. Calculate and record data. Communicate with mine personnel and other lab staff. Drive company vehicle.
