In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, efficient nursing support across various settings, including long-term care, assisted living, hospitals, and community health environments. Your skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and clinical documentation will help ensure the highest standards of care are maintained. We are looking for energetic and dedicated professionals eager to make a difference in patients' lives through expert nursing practices and collaborative teamwork. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine care needs. Administer medications and injections accurately following established protocols, including IV infusions and medication management. Assist with medical procedures such as catheterization, suturing, tube feeding, and sterile processing to support patient recovery and comfort. Document all patient interactions thoroughly using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support acute pain management, dementia care—including Alzheimer's and memory care—and infectious disease protocols across diverse patient populations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in settings such as ICU, emergency room, post-acute care facilities, or outpatient clinics to coordinate effective treatment plans. Conduct patient education on health coaching topics like nutrition, discharge planning, and chronic disease management to promote long-term wellness. Skills Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for procedures, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Experience with specialized care areas including critical care (ICU), emergency medicine (ER), hospice care, geriatrics—including dementia and Alzheimer's care—and pediatric or neonatal settings. Skilled in IV insertion/insertion techniques, venipuncture (phlebotomy), catheter care, and airway management including ventilator support. Familiarity with infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for safe patient handling and specimen processing. Ability to perform physical examinations and assessments with attention to detail in diverse environments such as hospital medicine or home & community care settings. Excellent communication skills for working with patients of all ages—including children with developmental disabilities—and collaborating effectively within healthcare teams.
