Licensed Practical Nurse - prn and part time shifts

Job Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) . This position offers flexible scheduling options, allowing you to balance your professional passions with personal commitments. We are looking for an individual that wants to supplement their income filling in when the community has a need due to nurses on vacation, pto, I'll etc. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation. Administer medications, injections, and other treatments following established protocols and physician orders. Monitor patients' conditions closely, recognizing signs of acute pain or deterioration and responding promptly. Maintain accurate medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide patient education on medication management, disease processes like Alzheimer's or dementia care, nutrition, and self-care strategies. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans. Experience Valid licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the appropriate state or jurisdiction. Prior experience working in diverse healthcare settings nursing homes, assisted living facilities a plus Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as point click care preferred but not required Experience with specialized care areas including dementia and assisted living a bonus Ability to perform resident assessments Join us in delivering outstanding resident centered care!
