OPEN TO PATIENT CARE TECHS, CCHT, OR LPN JOB REQUIREMENTS

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT

NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED BUT HELPFUL. ON-THE-JOB TRAINING AVAILABLE.

NORMAL HOSPITAL/OUTPATIENT ENVIRONMENT. CLOSE EYE WORK. HEARING OFNORMAL AND SOFT TONES. EXPOSED TO ELECTRICAL, BIOLOGICAL AND CHEMICAL HAZARDS POTENTIAL. OPERATES VARIETY OF EQUIPMENT USED -ACT MACHINE, HEMODIALYSIS MACHINE, BICARBONATE MIXER,CRASHCART, CLAMPS, SYRINGES WITH NEEDLES, FISTULA NEEDLES , REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER TREATMENT EQUIPMENT, DEIONIZING WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM. FREQUENT STANDING, WALKING, BENDING, LIFTING UP TO OR EXCEEDING 75 POUNDS. CARRYING UP TO 40 POUNDS.PUSHING/PULLING UP TO OR EXCEEDING 300 POUNDS.
JOB SUMMARY
o
RESPONSIBLE FOR THERAPEUTIC CARE OF END STAGERENAL DISEASE PATIENTS. WORKS UNDER DIRECT SUPERVISION OF REGISTERED NURSE. RESPONSIBLE FOR INITIATING, MONITORING, TERMINATING, AND ADJUSTING ALL HEMODIALYSIS TREATMENTS ASSIGNED TO. MUST CONDUCT HIMSELF/HERSELF IN PROFESSIONAL MANNER AND DRESS APPROPRIATELY. WORKS IN THE OUTPATIENT UNIT AS WELL AS THE INPATIENT UNIT AS
NEEDED.
