Licensed Practical Nurse Pediatric Complex Care of Arkansas - 3.3 North Little Rock, AR Job Details Full-time $25 - $34 an hour 23 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Retirement plan Qualifications CPR Certification Patient monitoring BLS Certification CPR High school diploma or GED LPN Full Job Description Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Pediatric Long-Term Care Pediatric Complex Care of Arkansas (PCCA) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care for medically complex children in our long-term residential facility. This position is ideal for an LPN who wants to gain hands-on pediatric experience and contribute to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team caring for children with profound developmental delays and complex medical needs. Our team values reliability, effective communication, and teamwork to ensure every child receives the highest quality care. Education & Licensure Must be a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Arkansas High school diploma or equivalent required Pediatric experience preferred but not required Position Overview Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and Registered Nurses (RNs), the LPN provides nursing care to assigned residents. The LPN assists with administering medications and treatments, documenting patient care, and supporting the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure individualized and safe care for all residents. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as ordered and accurately document care Monitor and report changes in patient condition to supervising RNs or Team Leaders Assist RNs with patient assessments, care planning, and evaluation of interventions Maintain clear, accurate, and timely medical records Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and direct care staff Follow proper safety procedures and report potential hazards Participate in patient care activities, including hygiene, feeding, mobility, and transfers as appropriate Assist with CPR and emergency interventions as needed; maintain current CPR certification Properly operate and maintain medical equipment, including feeding pumps, CPT machines, and mobility devices Use professionalism, tact, and courtesy when interacting with children, families, visitors, and staff Perform other duties as assigned Physical & Professional Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist residents as needed Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Commitment to teamwork, reliability, and patient-centered care Safety sensitive position PCCA is an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
