Contract | Local Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality patient care in a healthcare facility setting. The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician and assist with patient care, medication administration, monitoring, and daily living activities while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Responsibilities Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the RN or physician Administer medications and treatments as directed Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EMR systems Support RNs and healthcare teams in implementing patient care plans Provide basic wound care and assist with medical procedures Educate patients and families on healthcare needs and follow-up care Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols Respond appropriately to patient needs and emergencies within scope of practice Maintain professional communication with patients, families, and healthcare staff Requirements Active LPN License BLS Certification Minimum 1 year of practical nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting Knowledge of nursing practices and patient care techniques Ability to follow care plans and work under supervision Strong communication and organizational skills Experience with EMR documentation systems Preferred Long-term care or skilled nursing experience Experience working in a healthcare facility environment Strong patient assessment and documentation skills
