Job Description

Ro Health is looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at a Youth Correctional Facility in Phoenix, Arizona! This position plays a vital role in providing essential care to incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and therapeutic environment within the facility.

Contract Qualifications:
Active AZ LPN license (in good standing) At least 6 months of LPN experience BLS Certification from the American Heart Association Ability to pass a strict background check Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring proper dosages for adolescent patients Monitor and document vital signs while assessing youth for any signs of distress or illness Provide wound care and first aid for injuries common in a juvenile facility Assist with chronic condition management, such as asthma, diabetes, and mental health concerns Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care until higher-level support arrives Educate youth on health, hygiene, and wellness to promote positive habits Collaborate with behavioral health teams to address emotional and psychological needs Ensure infection control and hygiene standards in a communal living environment Support youth in adjusting to medical routines in a structured facility setting Maintain documentation and communicate health updates with RNs, facility staff, and guardians as needed Why Join Ro Health?
