Desired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to respond appropriately to diverse resident needs. Ability to perform physical demands of the job. Ability to multi-task in a high stress and fast-paced environment. Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professionalism. Job Duties Assist with direct resident care, as needed. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor and document patient progress, including vital signs, symptoms, and medication effectiveness. Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment Answer residents calls and determine how to assist them. Assemble and use equipment such as catheters, oxygen supplies, etc. Complete any documentation and charting daily for residents. Act as an advocate for the residents when indicated. Ensure residents are treated fairly, with kindness, dignity, and respect. Perform diagnostic tests as ordered by the physician. Arrange medical transport, as needed. Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required. Assist with the ongoing therapeutic management of stable long-term issues in the chronically ill/elderly.
Employment Requirements:
Must possess an active, unencumbered, license to practice as a License Nurse in the state of Arizona. Can be Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (we will help you apply if needed) Completion of a 2 Step TB Test (available on-site if needed) Current in-person CPR/AED Certificate for Healthcare Professionals.
