Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an exciting Full-Time job in Tucson, AZ. Key Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and within scope of license Perform wound care, catheter care, tracheostomy care, gastrostomy/jejunostomy care, and other nursing treatments Observe and report resident conditions, responses to medications, and changes in health status Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and resident support Supervise subordinate staff and assist with staff training and development Participate in shift reports, staff meetings, and interdisciplinary care coordination Complete admission nursing assessments for newly admitted residents Ensure adequate supplies and medications are maintained on the unit Respond appropriately to emergency situations and perform other assigned nursing duties Support infection control and quality improvement initiatives Required Skills & Knowledge Geriatric and gerontological nursing practices Medication administration and pharmacology knowledge Resident care planning and implementation Knowledge of nursing procedures, treatment plans, and healthcare regulations Ability to supervise staff and maintain strong working relationships Excellent communication and observational skills Requirements Active LPN License CPR/BLS Certification TB Skin Test Skills Assessment Qualifications Previous geriatric or long-term care experience preferred Strong leadership and patient care skills Ability to work weekends and rotating schedules as required For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
