$70/hour (after 40 hours) No on-call or holiday requirements Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a 13-week travel assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care including medication administration, injections, and treatments per physician orders Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and evaluate patient conditions Assist with procedures such as IV therapy, catheterization, tube feeding, and wound care Maintain accurate documentation in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.) Identify and respond to changes in patient conditions promptly Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-care instructions Requirements Active California LVN License (required) BLS/CPR Certification (mandatory) Minimum 1 year of LVN experience (SNF preferred) Strong clinical, assessment, and emergency response skills Experience with direct patient care including IVs, EKGs, and medication administration Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Preferred Experience Background in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth) Experience in dementia care, hospice, or memory care settings is a plus
