Job Title:
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our outpatient clinic team. This role focuses on providing high‑quality patient care, supporting physicians, and ensuring a positive experience for every patient. The LVN will work closely with an assigned MD, supporting both virtual and in‑person visits in a fast‑paced clinical setting. Responsibilities Take and accurately record patient vital signs Room patients and prepare them for provider visits Provide excellent patient care and customer service Greet patients and act as a chaperone during exams and procedures Assist physicians with medical procedures as needed Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records in the EHR Educate patients as appropriate on care plans and next steps Essential Skills Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) experience in an outpatient or clinical setting Proficiency with electronic health records Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices Experience working with pediatric patients Ability to measure, interpret, and document blood pressure BLS certification required Experience supporting internal medicine or primary care workflows Additional Qualifications 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred Active LVN license required Work Environment This clinic offers a team‑focused, family‑oriented environment with a strong emphasis on high‑quality patient care and outcomes. Team members are trusted with a high level of autonomy and are not micromanaged, ensuring they feel supported and valued. The clinic includes an onsite lab. The LVN will be assigned to work directly with an MD and will support both virtual and in‑person visits. Patient demographics include all ages, including pediatrics. Visits are scheduled in 20‑minute intervals, with up to 24 patients seen daily. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Buellton, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
