Licensed Vocational Nurse - Field Nurse WTFootcare, Professional Physician Assistant Corporation Claremont, CA Job Details Per diem From $35 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications Nursing LVN Interpersonal skills BLS Certification HIPAA Healthcare privacy protection Infection control regulations Computer skills LPN NextGen Patient interaction Full Job Description Looking to hire Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) in the Claremont and surrounding areas of Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, Rialto, San Bernardino, Colton. This position is Per Diem only . We will need the LVN to be available for work anywhere from 3 - 10 hours including Wednesday mornings at Claremont Manor 1x a month and a facility in Rancho Cucamonga, 1 time every other month. The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for working alongside the RN, RNP and or PA to provide footcare services in a hospice and or home health setting. They also provide trimming of toenails for the at-risk foot and helping patients ambulate to their designated areas for foot care. The LVN needs to be able to carry out procedures/orders initiated by the
PA/RNP/RN.
Travel is involved. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Working in their scope of practice and able to consult and coordinate with the healthcare team to evaluate patient care plans. Prepare patients for and assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments Provide trimming of nails and providing minor wound care under the order of the PA/RNP onsite. Travel to patients' assisted living facilities, homes and board and cares to provide care. Reporting abnormal findings to PA/NP Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Graduated from and accredited LVN program and hold a valid state license. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and preventative measures (HIPAA confidentiality, infection spread etc.) Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment and highly motivated with the ability to be empathetic with patients. Good listening skills, strong verbal communication skills with a diverse range of individuals. Ability to work well in a team setting. Additional Information $35 per hour starting We will train. Per Diem only, no medical benefits provided.
