Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 School Nurse to provide individualized nursing care to a student in a school-based setting. This role is ideal for a licensed nurse who has experience supporting students with medical needs while promoting safety, inclusion, and academic success. As a 1:1 School Nurse, you will work directly with a student throughout the school day, ensuring their medical needs are met and collaborating with school staff to maintain a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 nursing care to a student during the school day
• Monitor student health status and respond to medical needs as they arise
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and care plans
• Assist with daily health-related needs, including bathroom or personal care support when required
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and reports
• Communicate with school staff, parents/guardians, and supervisors regarding student care
• Ensure compliance with school health policies and confidentiality regulations
• Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment

Required Qualifications:

• Active and valid nursing license (LVN/LPN or RN, as applicable)
• Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Comfortable providing 1:1 care and personal assistance as needed
• Knowledge of student health plans and emergency response procedures
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, professional, and student-focused approach to care
