Program:
Detox (DTX) & Residential Treatment Center (RTC) Harmony Junction Recovery is Detox Residential treatment program in Lake Forest, CA and we are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our growing team. Position Overview The LVN will oversee and manage all medical services for our Detox and Residential Treatment (DTX/RTC) clients. This role is essential in ensuring safe, ethical, and high-quality care for individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Key Responsibilities Provide daily medical oversight for all DTX/RTC clients Perform client assessments, vitals, withdrawal monitoring (CIWA/COWS), and medication administration Manage and maintain accurate medical documentation, MARs, and treatment logs Coordinate with physicians, NPs, and clinical staff regarding client care plans Administer UA tests, breathalyzers, and respond to medical needs or emergencies Participate in admissions, discharges, and ongoing client evaluations Maintain compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and best-practice standards Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, staff, and leadership Support a safe, therapeutic environment through compassion and sound clinical judgment Qualifications Active LVN license in the state of CA Experience working in detox, residential treatment, or behavioral health strongly preferred Strong assessment skills and comfort working with withdrawal protocols Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to stay calm, grounded, and supportive in fast-paced or high-acuity moments Passion for helping individuals struggling with addiction and mental health Why Join Maverick Behavioral Health Group?
